A Scenic Film Festival? Experience It for Yourself in Fayetteville

Join Pack Rat Outdoor Center and the Buffalo River Watershed Alliance for a showing of one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film festivals right here in the natural state. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour is a collection of films from the annual festival held in Nevada City, CA, now in its 16th year. The festival focuses on films which speak to the environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet.

Explore Alaskan tundra, Californian coasts, the flowing Rio Grande, east coast climbing, and so much more. Get lost in beautiful cinematography crafted by a diverse set of filmmakers and first-rate storytellers who inform, inspire, and ignite possible solutions to restore mother nature while creating a positive future for the next generation (see the film festival trailer here).

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival will be held Wednesday, October 24, from 5PM-9PM at the Fayetteville Town Center. There is also a pre-event reception from 5PM-6PM. During the pre-event reception, guests can enjoy the provided beer, sway to live local music, enjoy the photography of local explorers/artists, participate in giveaways, and mingle amongst the vendors who each come to support the community building mission of the event.

Ticket costs $15 with $10 from each ticket going directly to the Buffalo River Watershed Alliance. With each ticket you will receive access to the event, complimentary beer and snacks, entry into the night's giveaways, and a souvenir stainless steel pint with the film festival logo etched on. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
