View a House Designed by This Esteemed Architect at Crystal Bridges Museum

Experience the architecture of Crystal Bridges in a whole new way through this program that mixes art, a signature cocktail, and conversation for an evening that will leave you buzzing! On Wednesday, October 10th, join Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art for a lively discussion about Frank Lloyd Wright and his on-site design, the Bachman-Wilson Home.

Master storyteller Timothy Totten will lead an evening of energetic discussion featuring the life and work of Frank Lloyd Wright, as you sip your drink on the Bachman-Wilson Home lawn. The home, originally built in New Jersey, was moved and reconstructed to fit museum grounds in 2015.

Frank Lloyd Wright was a prolific American architect, interior designer, writer, and educator, who designed more than 1,000 structures, 532 of which were completed. Wright believed in designing structures that were in harmony with humanity and its environment, a philosophy he called organic architecture. His creative period spanned more than 70 years and produced some of the most notable buildings in existence, including New York’s Guggenheim Museum, Pennsylvania’s Fallingwater, and California’s Hollyhock House.

Tickets to this event are $20. A discounted rate of $16 is available for museum members. Attendees may register online or by calling the museum at (479) 657-2335. This event is sponsored by Marlon Blackwell Architects, Ken and Liz Allen, Chip and Susan Chambers, and Tartaglino Richards Family Foundation in memory of Maurice Jennings.
