This Legendary Late-Night Comic Returns to the Stage on Saturday Night

You know him as the host of top-rated The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. More recently, you’ve seen him on the CNBC TV series Jay Leno’s Garage, now in its third season. When he’s not on TV, Jay Leno performs more than 100 stand-up shows annually across the country and internationally. Don’t miss your chance to see this comedy legend when he takes the stage at Walton Arts Center for the first time on Saturday, March 30th!

Acclaimed late night TV show host, admired stand-up comedian, best-selling children’s book author, in-demand corporate speaker, TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, philanthropist and Emmy Award-winner Jay Leno is widely characterized as “the hardest working man in show business.” The New York native and long-time Massachusetts resident first began his stand-up career while in college before moving to Los Angeles to write for television.

Leno became the guest host of The Tonight Show in 1987 and—when Johnny Carson retired in 1992—NBC chose Leno as his replacement. In 2009, after 17 years as host and an Emmy, Leno handed the show to Conan O'Brien. But, only a few months later, NBC caused controversy by bringing Leno back as host and bumping O'Brien. Leno left The Tonight Show for good when his contract ended in 2014. After leaving The Tonight Show, Leno was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame on March 11, 2014.
